Android

Now and then , here and there, everywhere Andriod !!!
Let’s try to understand the basics of Android…

What is Android???
  •      Android means in lateral translation “an automaton that resembles a human being”. But, it’s just sake of our information. In technical world Android is an Operating System. Its Linux based OS developed by Google, such as smartphones and tablet computers. Android Open Source Project (AOSP) is led by Google, and is tasked with the maintenance and development of Android. According to the project "The goal of the Android Open Source Project is to create a successful real-world product that improves the mobile experience for end users.

Scrutiny of types of Android:
In 20 September 2008 it’s initially released. Android operating system began with the release of the Android 1.0 beta in November 2007 and up till now there are four types of version released.

Very Very interesting Thing—

Since April 2009, each Android version has been developed under a codename based on a “dessert item”. These all versions have released in alphabetical order. Note down below:-

v1.5        Cupcake
v1.6        Donut
v2.0/2.1  Eclair
v2.2.x     Froyo
v2.3.x     Gingerbread
v3.x         Honeycomb
v4.x         Ice Cream Sandwich
v4.2         JellyBin

Now for next android version’s code name we can guess it..like “Kafka”…:-P

This has seen a number of updates to its base operating system since its original release. These updates typically fix bugs and add new features (e.g. Graphics, Simplicity, Speed, Security and other apps).
